Aminah's Organic Skin
Spa is an eco-friendly “green” spa that focuses on a holistic approach to
skincare while working to reduce global warming. The owner of Aminah's Organic
Skin Spa, Aminah, is a licensed Esthetician who was originally trained in
Newport Beach, CA. Aminah and her staff's knowledge stems from the fact that
they have struggled with skin issues themselves and have learned how to treat
and improve their skin using Eminence
Organic Skin products from Hungary.
Aminah founded her
company with the intention of improving the self-confidence of our
clients. We
know how important first impressions are and how blemished skin can reduce your
self- esteem and discourage you from approaching others for the first time. Our
mission is clear: To improve our client's skin which brings self-confidence and
self-empowerment which in turn will enhance all facets of their lives.
We are a Las Vegas spa that
proudly uses organic spa products that contain no harsh chemicals, pesticides,
herbicides or parabens. Our products are sodium laurel sulfate-free and
cruelty-free.
Organic Skincare, Products & Techniques that Deliver Results
The organic products and facials
used at our Las Vegas day spa are more powerful and results-oriented than
chemical-based skincare and facials. This is because the organic products in
our facials, and prescription home care regime for clients, have a higher
concentration of vitamins and minerals sourced from organic fruits, vegetables,
seeds and hand-harvested herbs. Our skin recognizes these organic ingredients
as food because they are in fact food and nutrition for the skin. Additionally, our
Hungarian Facial massage techniques and advanced mixology skills drives
results!
Another benefit of using organic skincare is the skin's extremely high ability to absorb organic nutrients.This is because the
molecules of organic ingredients are smaller and therefore able to penetrate
deeper and work more effectively than chemical-based products. This is why over
90% of our clients see and feel results from just one treatment!
We're an Earth-Friendly Spa that Cares
Our
staff knows how vitally important it is to lessen our carbon footprint here on
earth. That is why we strive to be as “green” as possible. Currently our Las
Vegas organic spa is over 60% green. We routinely recycle at our spa by
using green and organic skincare products that are all packaged in recycled
materials, vegetable ink and by making use of a green, paperless booking and
check-out system.
At Aminah’s
Organic Skin Spa we primarily use green cleaning products and we even use
green/organic bug deterrent made with essential oils. Additionally, we partner
with our skincare company Eminence Organics and cooperate in over a dozen green
initiatives with them.
For example, for every product sold, Eminence
Organics
plants a tree in one of 37 countries around the world that can be tracked
online. This particular movement is called “Forests for Future”. Recently we
were informed that our Las Vegas spa helped contribute to the planting of over
700 trees since November 2012 which incidentally, covers an area approximately
68 acres.
We truly are a Las Vegas day
spa that cares about our local community, the planet we live on and the clients
we serve. In our on-going effort to contribute to the community, our spa
volunteers at the Shade Tree women's shelter and the American
Cancer Society because we wish to help those less fortunate who are in
need.
Meet Our Staff Members
Aminah’s
Organic Skin Spa would be nothing without its dynamic team members that are
dedicated to improving our clients’ skin and self-esteem, while also staying
abreast with the continuing education of organic skincare. Learn more about

Jessica - Spa Manager
Jessica
has been in customer service for almost fourteen years, starting with her
first
job at a children’s day care center. From there, her career has taken her
through
different aspects of customer service and retail including merchandising,
marketing,
shipping and receiving, and managerial concepts. Jessica is a firm
believer
in doing her part for the environment. Known as the “Recycling Queen” at
a
previous job, Jessica pushed for a system of recycling at the corporate level
which
helped
to result in a regional eWaste recycling venture. She has been “green” for
decades
with a long-lived love of Organics and natural living. When first introduced
to
the Organic skin care line Eminence, Jessica fell in love right away and
noticed a
smoother
complexion. However, it didn’t take long to notice other changes in her
skin
as well: increased hydration and balance, fewer breakouts, and an ever-present
glow,
as well as virtually no more Eczema flare-ups. “Eminence will be the last skin
care
line I ever use!”
Dafne - Lead Esthetician
Dafne
is a professionally trained dancer in jazz, tap, acrobats, hip hop, and modern
dancing.
She became a dancer for a very well known company in Las Vegas. When
she
turned 16 she found out she had a passion not only for dance but also makeup
and
decided
to do makeup on the side just to make some extra money. At the age of
18
Dafne decided to explore more and became a special EX make up artist and
learned
about
molding and sculpting the face. At the age of 19 a clothing designer decided
to
hire her as his lead make up artist and she did runway make-up for a few months
before
realizing she had a passion for skin care as well. Dafne got to meet women with
different
skin types and skin problems. She wanted to help women and men get the
flawless
skin they always look for when it comes to make-up. So she decided to get her
license
to help educate people about their skin and how to take care of it.
Dafne is our lead Esthetican and has immersed herself in learning
the Unique Hungarian Techniques we implore during out facials. She is an exceptional team player and leader
training our new Estheticians with passion and care. Her exceptional customer service and
leadership makes her invaluable.
Jennifer - Esthetician
Jennifer
was born and raised in Las Vegas. She has been an esthetician for ten years,
working
in both resort and local spas. Jennifer decided to become an esthetician
because
she
wanted to find a career that would allow her to take the time in obtaining a
degree
in
creative writing. What she discovered is a love for the artistry of aesthetics
and
for
being of service to clients. It feels good to make other feel good! The field
of
aesthetics
is always growing. Jennifer loves learning and watching clients' skin
transform.
There
is nothing better than improving the way a person feels about their skin
and
themselves. She is a mother, a stepmother, a wife and the mama to two goofy
Labradors.
Jennifer enjoys yoga, writing, and photography.
Jennifer is actually one of the main writers for
our Blogs and Newsletters. Jennifer
believes she has the perfect marriage of blending her 2 passions of writing and
skincare and so do we!
Sara - Esthetician/ Receptionist
Sara’s
interest in esthetics happened quite accidentally: while struggling through cosmetology
school and trying desperately to enjoy doing hair, her interest in skin care
was piqued during a brief chapter on facials. After deciding that cosmetology
just wasn’t in her cards, she switched her focus to skin care and hasn’t looked
back. Coming from a performance background, and paired with a particular love
of anatomy, she not only understands the importance of a perfectly arched brow,
but the mechanisms and structures that support that brow. Her keen interest in
the physiology of the skin and musculature of the face are what drive her
passion for esthetics and she is constantly working to expand her knowledge.
A
professional dancer and mother of two, Sara can often be found honing her
abilities in a dance studio or doing chemistry experiments with her two young
boys, who she affectionately calls her Mad Scientists. Sara is our in house
“skin” Wikipedia. Her advanced knowledge
of anatomy and chemistry makes her the go to person for skin facts. Additionally, Sara is a talented Esthetician
and puts clients at ease with her confident, reassuring touch and expertise
skills.
